ETK (Elektrotechnika) Kolín, a.s. is a Czech electro-technical company, which was established in 1994 by mounting company capital assets of a company ETK Kolín s.r.o. The ETK Kolín s.r.o. was established in 1992 by a parent company TESLA Kolín a.s.
In 1994 company ELEKTROTECHNIKA Kolín s.r.o. during its transformation to the stock company inserted in the company name a word "Tesla" for historical continuity.
Nowadays the parent company TESLA Kolín a.s. does not exist.

Quality management system ISO 9001

Launching of a quality management system (QMS) was a strategic decision made by a top company management. The quality management system is in accordance with a EN ISO 9001:2000 standards. This QMS and the previous one under EN ISO 9001:1994 standards both were certified by a certification body RWTÜV. This body also maintains a periodic supervision of the QMS. QMS is documented by a quality manual, documented procedures and procedure descriptions and connected with a system's documentation. The main purpose of the QMS is to efficiently identify and fulfil customer needs and expectations, maintain and improve general company performance and eligibility.
